THE LAZERBUILT STORY
It began in the eighties, when hair was big and fashion choices dubious. Our young hero decided to start his own venture when the telecom market de- regulated.
At a time when the market was largely monopolised and answering machines were sold on a rental basis, our plucky entrepreneur began importing product from the States. He designed a new circuit board, and got UK approval for his creation. He took the design to Japan and a partner factory began making Phonelog answering machines.
Japan became Taiwan and Malaysia and then China, as manufacturing expertise broadened around the world. Soon answering machines lead to Mybelle telephones, and Mybelle telephones became mobile and other tech accessories and the rest, as they say, is history.
Based on niche fun designs and special features, the Lazerbuilt range stood out. So much so it resulted in a licenses with brands such as Coca Cola, Warner Bros.
and Disney.
Now Lazerbuilt exports all over Europe. In fact, export is over half of our
business.
Today the company has passed to Lauren Madden who has inherited her
father’s entrepreneurial spirit and with a team of experts continues to create
extraordinary products to bring to the consumer electronics markets all over
Europe.
